Description: This project aims to develop a computational platform for designing luminescent chemical biosensors tailored to detect specific biomolecules at low concentrations. The biosensors will have applications in space; such as monitoring bioproduction; detecting life signatures in extraterrestrial samples; and astronaut health. The platform will use deep learning to design and optimize sensing proteins for various analytes.
Benefits: This project will develop versatile; portable biosensors for detecting biomolecules in space; benefiting NASA by enhancing in-situ monitoring of bioproducts; life signatures; and astronaut health. The innovative platform combines deep learning and physics-based models for efficient design; enabling the detection of a broad range of molecular targets with improved sensitivity and adaptability.
